This Chicago-based management consultancy is dedicated to helping global companies achieve digital transformation with customized Pega solutions–as well as to give back to the communities that have supported its growth.

Rulesware approached Forge & Spark Media needing two things:

  1. an external content marketing plan that would effectively reach and convey a clear story to prospective clients and prospective employees;
  2. an internal communications strategy that would help to retain their existing employees, a mostly distributed workforce in the US, Canada, El Salvador, and Mexico.

We have created, executed, and regularly update both an internal and external content strategy for Rulesware. Internally, we support bi-monthly Town Hall forums to engage the company’s 250+ distributed (and largely remote) workforce; a quarterly newsletter targeted at the company’s key partner; and several regular internal newsletters highlighting news and events that surface in, an internal communications portal which we regularly update and foster community within. Externally, we oversee content planning and production, including providing website copy and content, telling clearly defined stories across blogs and social channels, and reporting monthly on steady progress against targeted goals.

Rulesware has more than doubled in size since we began working with them in 2013, adding 150 workers to its distributed and largely remote workforce, making internal communication and employee engagement a priority. Our strategies, successfully implemented tools and ongoing outreach have connected this warm, familial team and have facilitated recruiting efforts. Externally, we’ve now 20X’d social followership, and have helped to triple recruits driven via social media.

CEO Anthony Lee is generous and fiercely committed to both fostering a warm, supportive culture and giving back to the communities Rulesware works in. Along with various community programs, each member of Rulesware donates volunteer time annually. That rocks.
