Our certified B Corp content marketing agency is seeking a contract Project Manager to guide and manage 3-4 client projects on a remote, part-time (15-25 hours/week) basis for two months -- possibly leading to future work. The right person must have at least three years of project management experience in an agency, as well as a clear idea of content and social media marketing.

The Role
The PM role contributes enormously to the optimal functioning of our agency, and client and internal projects.
In this role, you provide leadership and vital support to ensure that client projects run smoothly at a premium level of service and content quality. You have exceptional interpersonal communication skills and are known to be a diplomat, managing relationships with grace while getting results.

You’ll assist us with project budgeting and resourcing, task assignments and scheduling. You’ll work alongside other project managers too to ensure that agency communications and account / project management is exceptional.
You have top-notch organizational, communication, and leadership skills and you enjoy coming up with solutions to complex project challenges, always ensuring that our projects are delivered to our high standards of quality, and are delivered on time. You have, or will quickly develop, a deep understanding of content marketing / inbound marketing processes, tactics, and practices as well as the client’s business, branding, content, and marketing needs.
The Particulars
- Customer relationship management
- Ensure that projects run smoothly, effectively, on time, on budget, and at a premium level of quality
- Forecasting and managing project hours using Harvest and Float
- Leading client meetings and managing communications: communicating insights from reporting and analysis, gathering insights on future content needs
- Management of client communications using Google Drive, Slack and email (client preference)
- Setup of project timelines and meeting structure
- Completion of project workback (waterfall) for assigned projects
- Involvement in strategic development process (understanding and eventually contributing to core content/social strategy)
- Documentation and management of all project tasks in Asana
- Manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables
- Oversight of all project documentation
- Participation in weekly agency meetings to evaluate and report on project health, including reporting on your own assigned projects, alerting the team to any issues that may arise, along with particular successes
- Contributing to optimal functioning of processes and systems (such as contributing to after action reviews, project budgets, resourcing new projects)
- Support with project estimation, budgets, templates & process
