SERIALNINE is passionately loved by a growing community of performance driving enthusiasts...and for good reason. As leaders, Kevin and Gerard were deep in the work of building exceptional products—and marketing had taken a back seat. What they needed wasn't more content. They needed clarity, cohesion, and a system.
The Challenge
SERIALNINE is known for beautifully engineered suspension and driver-focused refinement parts. The products are designed by people who genuinely use and passionately care about them. And like many founder-led brands operating at a high level, Kevin and Gerard were finding their marketing needed tuning up to keep pace with the quality of their products.
They were also navigating a shifting market landscape, expanding into new regions, and preparing for upcoming campaigns — all while running a complex product-driven business.
What they needed was clarity, strategy, structure and repeatable marketing systems.

- A more cohesive visual and verbal identity that felt premium, precise, and unmistakably SERIALNINE
- And a content system their team could actually execute — consistently, confidently, and in-house

Our Approach
A test-run: a full strategic roadmap via a series of sprints
Perhaps appropriately, SERIALNINE was our first ‘test-run’ of our full strategic sprint system. It was a perfect application of the sprints —short, fast bursts of strategy that don’t waste anyone’s time — that collectively create a durable foundation to support future growth, new products, and evolving markets.
From the beginning, this felt like a partnership. Kevin and Gerard were generous with their time and expertise, sharing the nuances of their industry, engineering philosophy, and their deep understanding of the challenges and goals of their customers and community. That mutual respect shaped our work at every stage of the strategic series, from audit to messaging, through to visual branding, content planning, and systems setup.
Sprint 1: Audit to Action
Understanding the landscape before defining the path.
We began with a deep audit of SERIALNINE’s existing brand, content, website, and channels — alongside a review of key competitors and “worthy rivals.”
This allowed us to:
- Identify where competitors were winning on volume, speed, or visibility — and where they were falling short
- Clarify where SERIALNINE already stood apart: precision, care, customer service, and design integrity
- Surface gaps between how good the products are and how clearly that value was being communicated
Sprint 2: Foundational Brand Messaging
Turning expertise into language customers can feel and understand
We next worked with Kevin and Gerard to define SERIALNINE’s messaging foundation: the strategic backbone for every future piece of content.
Together, we developed:
- A clear core brand message rooted in engineering integrity and driver experience
- Positioning messaging that emphasizes value, innovation, and thoughtful design — not hype
- Messaging pillars to balance:
- Technical credibility
- Emotional connection to driving and car culture
- Community and customer care
- Voice and tone guidelines to ensure everything sounds consistent, human, and unmistakably SERIALNINE
- Practical “do / don’t” guidance and plug-and-play copy examples for launches, education, and community engagement
This phase helped translate years of lived experience and product knowledge into language the right customers could immediately grasp — and trust. Most importantly, it documented the ‘language’ of SERIALNINE in an accessible format for anyone to use when creating content for the brand.
Sprint 3: Visual Brand Kit
Nailing the visual branding for instant appeal
Rooted in the brand’s clarified messaging, we next developed a cohesive visual brand kit, delivered in Canva. Fresh logo interpretations, an updated brand colour palette, and new designs for social posts and YouTube thumbnails are now all in one place, so the SERIALNINE team can create content quickly and consistently without sacrificing quality.
This work included:
- Refined logo usage guidance
- A clarified colour palette and typography system
- Social templates for reels, carousels, and static posts
- Design rules that support clarity, accessibility, and a premium feel
The goal here wasn’t to reinvent the visual brand — it was to make it easier to show up well, every time.
Sprint 4: 90-day Content Plan
We built a 90-day content plan tailored to the brand's goals, audiences, and capacity.
Here’s where it always comes together: strategy and execution. We developed a plan providing:
- A detailed and actionable 90-day calendar
- Clear marketing objectives and target results
- Audience personas with clear messaging
- Clear content pillars and messaging tied to awareness, trust, and conversion
- Channel-specific guidance for Instagram, YouTube, email, and the website
- A realistic publishing cadence designed to reduce ad-hoc effort
- Anchor content ideas that could be repurposed across platforms
We also delivered training and documentation so SERIALNINE could confidently execute in-house. And it’s a system that can scale as the brand grows.

The brand's marketing now reflects the same care, precision, and integrity that goes into every product.
By the end of the sprint series, SERIALNINE had more than a plan — they had alignment.
